船舶与港口工程学院

山东交通学院船舶与港口工程学院坐落于风景秀美的海滨城市威海。学院先后被授予“山东省船舶工业校企合作示范单位”、“省级船舶与海洋工程专业人才教育培养基地”、“中国游艇专业人才培养教学基地”、“山东省高水平应用型专业建设群”、“山东省一流本科专业建设点”、“山东省产教融合研究生联合培养示范基地”等荣誉称号。

学院前身可追溯至2006年，山东交通学院开设山东省首家船舶与海洋工程本科专业；2014年，创建船舶与海洋工程学院；2016年，学院搬迁至威海校区，合并成立船舶与轮机工程学院；2020年，组建成立船舶与港口工程学院。

学院现有教职工49人，其中教授7人，副教授14人；国家级人才1人，泰山产业领军人才2人，正高级工程师1人，高级工程师3人，具备海外经历教师9人，博士29人（其中：博士后6人），博士占比达59%；船舶与海洋工程教师团队荣获第二批“山东省高校黄大年式教师团队”，海洋工程党员先锋领航团队获得“山东省教育系统共产党员先锋岗”称号。

学院设有船舶与海洋工程、智慧海洋技术、机械电子工程、海洋机器人等4个本科专业，1个机械硕士专业。船舶与海洋工程为山东省一流专业、山东省特色专业、山东省高水平应用型重点建设专业，并且通过IMarEST国际工程教育专业认证；海洋机器人、智慧海洋技术为新工科专业。机械硕士专业开设船舶工程、机械工程2个培养领域。

学院现有在读学生1273人，其中本科生1175人，硕士生98人。学院始终把人才培养质量放在首位，注重学生创新、实践能力的培养，积极落实“三全育人”理念。学生在A、B类高水平学术科技竞赛中获省级以上奖励近200项。同时，学院每年为船舶行业和地方经济发展培养输送了大批杰出人才，就业率达95%以上。

学院建有船舶建造实验室、流体力学实验室、船海新材料实验室等30余个专业实验室；获批“山东省高校船舶与海洋运输重点实验室”、“山东省高校智能邮轮游艇技术重点实验室”、“威海市流固耦合动力学重点实验室”、“威海市海洋机器人视觉感知与控制重点实验室”、“威海市纳米陶瓷涂层技术重点实验室”、“威海市游艇智能一体化设计工程技术研究中心”等。

学院积极提升国际化办学水平，注重国际交流与合作，落实与海外高水平大学的合作计划，先后与德国不莱梅哈芬应用技术大学、英国南安普顿大学、韩国海洋大学、挪威北极大学等高校建立合作关系；邀请国外知名学者开展学术交流，拓展学生国际视野。

Naval Architecture and Port Engineering College of Shandong Jiaotong University is located in Weihai, a coastal city with beautiful sceneries.

The college has been successively awarded the titles of "Shandong Province Demonstration Unit for Shipbuilding Industry School-Enterprise Cooperation", "Shandong Provincial Base for the Cultivation of Talents in Ship and Ocean Engineering Professionals", "China Teaching Base for the Cultivation of Yacht Professional Talents", "Shandong Province High-Level Applied Professional Development Group", "Shandong Province First-Class Undergraduate Professional Construction Point" and "Shandong Province Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base for Joint Training of Graduate Students."

The predecessor of the college dates back to 2006, when Shandong Jiaotong University established the first undergraduate major in Ship and Ocean Engineering in Shandong Province; in 2020, the Naval Architecture and Port Engineering College was officially established.

The college currently has a faculty of 49 staff members, including 7 professors and 14 associate professors. Among them, there is 2 Industrial Leading Talents of Mount Tai, 1 senior chief engineer, 3 senior engineers, 8 teachers with overseas experience, and 29 doctors, with the proportion of doctors reaching 59%. The Ship and Ocean Engineering teaching team was awarded the second batch of "Shandong Province Huang Danian-style Teacher Teams", and the Ocean Engineering CPC Party Member Pioneer Leading Team received the title of "Shandong Province Education System Communist Party Member Pioneer Post".

The college covers four undergraduate majors: Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Smart Ocean Technology, Marine Robotics, and Mechatronics Engineering, along with 1 master's program in Mechanical Engineering. Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is recognized as a top-tier major in Shandong Province, a specialty major, and a key construction major for high-level applied types. It is also a pilot project major for teaching reform in key areas of general undergraduate colleges in Shandong Province and has been accredited by the IMarEST for international engineering education. Marine Robotics and Smart Ocean Technology are new engineering disciplines. The Mechatronics Engineering major is oriented towards smart ports, and the Mechanical Master's program offers two training fields: Naval Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

There are over 30 specialized laboratories, including a Shipbuilding Laboratory, a Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, and a Marine New Materials Laboratory. It has been granted two provincial-level research platforms, "Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Ship and Ocean Transportation for Universities" and "Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Cruise and Yacht Technology for Universities", as well as five municipal-level research platforms, including "Weihai Fluid-Solid Coupling Dynamics Key Laboratory".

There are 7 research teams in the College, with 18 financed research projects approved at the provincial and ministerial levels and over 110 entrusted tasks initiated. The total funding received is more than 28 million yuan. Faculty members have published over 100 academic papers, published 5 monographs, and obtained more than 200 intellectual property rights.

There are over 1,200 undergraduates and over 100 master's students in the College. It recruits from 22 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country and has established 13 bases for excellent student sources. The college always prioritizes the quality of talent cultivation and focuses on developing students' innovative and practical abilities. Students have won over 50 national-level awards and over 200 provincial-level awards in high-level academic and scientific competitions of categories A and B. The college annually cultivates and supplies a large number of outstanding talents to the marine industry and local development, with a graduate employment rate of over 90% and a postgraduate admission rate as high as 27%.

The college focuses on serving national strategies by jointly establishing a provincial-level modern maritime industry college with the Weihai Marine Information Science and Technology Research Institute, China Merchants Jinling Ship (Weihai) Co., Ltd., and Yantai CIMC Raffles Group, providing talent support and intellectual backing for local industrial development. In collaboration with Weihai Nianyang Information Technology Co., Ltd., the college has founded the Shandong Jiaotong and Nianyang Ship Design and Research Center and established a ship maintenance and inspection personnel training center, which is the first of its kind in the country to be approved for training qualifications. It has also built an education base for maritime rights and security, and initiated integrated ideological and political education activities for primary, secondary, and university students.

The college has established over 30 off-campus internship and practical teaching bases and has built stable talent supply and demand cooperation relationships with more than 200 employers, including Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, China Shipbuilding Chongxi, and China Merchants Industry.

The College is actively enhancing its international education standards and focusing on international exchanges and cooperation. It has implemented cooperative plans with renowned overseas universities, successively establishing partnerships with institutions such as Bremen University of Applied Sciences in Germany, the University of Southampton in the UK, Korea Maritime University in Korea, and the Arctic University of Norway. The College invites well-known international scholars for academic exchanges to broaden students' global perspectives.

The College is committed to advancing the "Six Integrations" work mechanism that integrates CPC Party building with its operations, ensuring mutual promotion. This includes strengthening the guiding role of Party building, improving the theoretical education for faculty, refining the guidance and cultivation of students, streamlining the ideological and political education within the curriculum, consolidating the innovation mechanism of research platforms, and exploring the integration of industry and education services. These efforts aim to fully leverage the leading role of Party building in the development of the academy.
